The second of the Three Glorious Truths in Chapter 5:1 is that we have been made right because God has intervened on our behalf, and in our favor.  God has decided to Look upon us with eyes of Love and Compassion.  God’s Perspective of who we are is the only perspective that matters.  Why is this true preacher?

Because, the scripture declares in Psalm 100:3 “Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”  We belong in the hands of the one who formed us, who pressed his lips to ours as the Father of Life and breathed the breath of life into each and every one of us.  We Live and Move and Have our Being in Him.  We are God Dependent; We are Christ Dependent.  Don’t get it twisted; we are leaning on the Mighty Arm of God with every breath.

And one day the God of Creation looked upon our pitiful state and declared that we would be put right, we would be adopted into The Holy Family as Children who were once cut off from Him by our rebellion and hatred of Him, but He looked upon us with love and Compassion and Just one Look From the Master, and Your circumstances will change.

When God looks at you, The Light of His Countenance will Flood Your Soul and You will Know the Deep Riches of His Love For You.  One Look From the Master, The Lord, and Creator can Drive Fear From Your Trembling Heart; His Look Can Lift the Burdens of A Broken life, In His eyes Are the Bounty of Blessings For His Beloved Creation, God Is Looking At You Even Now and What He sees in not the Broken Down, Wreck, Mess of a Person, that You Think You are. God Sees the Pure Passion of His Heart; The Father Looks upon you as His Handiwork, an unfinished work in progress.

We are precious in His Sight, and You are beloved In the Eyes of God.  Notice something; there is no mention of a change in you.  You are not the source of God’s affection.  There is nothing in me that makes God Love me; He Loves Me because there is something in Him that reaches out to me and redeems me from the hand of my enemy.  In God’s Sight, You are His Beloved, His Desire; He Wants You.

And it is precisely for that Reason That He redeems us From His Wrath and the destruction that separation from Him Brings.
