the Third of Five Glorious Truths in Chapter 5:1 that we ought to know.  The Scripture says, “Therefore since 1 we have been made right 2 in God’s sight 3 by faith, we have peace with God, because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.”

That God makes us Right in His Sight By Faith.  It is Faith that makes life possible.  Without faith you would get up from your bed.  Without faith you would never leave your house.  You would be paralyzed with Fear about the things that could harm you.  Faith is a peculiar truth.  Peculiar because it is not what we know that makes the difference, but it what we are empowered by the Witness of God and the Testimony of the Holy Spirit to believe that drives our lives.  Faith Inspires, Faith Mobilizes and Faith Energizes  We are empowered by God to Live because he gives us Faith.  We can believe that the impossible is possible but only as God gives us the Faith to believe.

Why Hope in some thing that you do not believe is possible?  Only a fool would dare to hope in something that was impossible.  But a wise person dares to Hope in The Possible, and this is the power of Faith for us.  By Faith God makes what is impossible for Us is Possible With Him.

The Scripture tells us clearly, that We have BEEN Made Right.  Something outside of us is acting on us to bring us into the presence of the Lord and when we come before Him He looks at us with eyes of Compassion and Love, why because He has put Faith in Us that we might come boldly to the Throne of Grace and receive help for our weary souls.

He is our Help and our Hope in our Helplessness.  When Despair looms heavy and large on the horizon of our lives, Christ is the Power we need, He is the Help we have to overcome the struggles of our lives.  As the Song writer says.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
